Royals' Yordano Ventura plays softball with kids the day after Game 7

Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura had a pretty lousy Wednesday night, watching as his team was unable to overcome the force of nature that is Madison Bumgarner and losing Game 7 of the World Series 3-2 at home.

Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura had a pretty lousy Wednesday night, watching as his team was unable to overcome the force of nature that is Madison Bumgarner and losing Game 7 of the World Series 3–2 at home.

It would be easy to sit inside and mope for a few days after a loss like that, instead Ventura went out and played softball with some locals and hung out with youth teams.

Getting out and meeting the fans that supported the Royals' amazing run all the way to the edge of a championship is a great way to get over a loss. Let's just hope he didn't make any of those little leaguers try to hit his 97 mph fastball, that would be uncool.

All right, it would be kind of cool.
