J.R. Smith is not among the NBA's best players, but he is among the most popular. Everybody loves the carefree, trigger-happy shooting guard.

Fans in Phoenix Monday were especially amped to see Smith, whose Cavaliers are in town to play the Suns on Tuesday. 

The Cavs were practicing at Grand Canyon University, where dozens of fans came to try and catch a glimpse of the players.
