Pistons file trademark for Stan Van Gundy's 'form a wall'

Earlier this month, Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy implored his team to "form a f---ing wall" around the basket to protect a late lead. The tactic worked and the team adopted it as a sort of rallying cry

Now the franchise has applied for a trademark on the less profane phrase "form a wall."

On Jan. 15, the team filed a trademark claim to use the phrase on every piece of clothing imaginable, including baby bibs and "novelty headwear with attached wigs."
