Saturday Night Live tackles Deflategate

Saturday Night Live tackled the New England Patriots' "Deflategate" controversy.

The easiest target in sports remained in the news Saturday night, as Saturday Night Live tackled "Deflategate" in its latest episode.

Hours after Bill Belichick's impromptu press conference explained how the New England Patriots believe they followed every protocol despite the NFL finding that 12 of their footballs were underinflated during last weekend's AFC Championship Game, SNL pounced on the storyline that's dominated the lead up to Super Bowl XLIX.

SI's complete coverage of Deflategate investigation

That's a show-stealing impersonation of Belichick by Beck Bennett.

"Good evening, [long grunt]," he says. "As you can tell, I'm taking this very seriously, and that's why I got dressed up."
