Mo'ne Davis is launching a line of sneakers for charity

Mo'ne Davis is using her star turn in last summer's Little League World Series to help out impoverished girls around the world by endorsing a new line of sneakers in which the proceeds are sent to to charities.

The shoes are part of a collaboration between Make a Difference Everyday and the Because I Am a Girl charity, and feature baseball-style stitching on a high-top sneaker.

In addition to entering the world of footwear design, Davis is also now a published author, as her memoirs, Remember My Name,hit stores on March 17.
