The forgotten sports emojis

Whoever invented emojis clearly wasn't a sports fan. Here are a few suggestions for the next rollout of characters.

Apple rolled out a bunch of new emojis with this week's iOS 8.3 release. The bulk of the new characters are more racially diverse versions of existing emojis; there are also some new country flags, same-sex families and an Apple Watch. That's all well and good, but we still see some obvious holes in the collection.

Here are a few sports-related suggestions for the next generation of emojis:
