The Lions got their first win of the season in an overtime game at home on Sunday, but two of the team’s biggest fans were not there to see the momentous occasion, as they had been ejected before the fourth quarter.

Matthew Spring was not going to take that injustice lying down, and so he posted a very emotional video to Facebook (Warning: contains some adult language), although his sincerity was somewhat undercut by the fact that he was wearing rhinestone shutter shades and a stuffed animal lion on his head.

Patriots fan’s Halloween display has Roger Goodell burning at the stake

Spring’s histrionics are made even more hilarious by his stoic friend, whom he calls “Detroit Don,” who stares stonefaced into the camera throughout the rant.

While we do not know the whole story of why the pair was asked to leave Ford Field, one thing that is undeniable is that the pair bleeds Honolulu Blue.
