Sabres winger Evander Kane took a helicopter to Monday’s Jays game

What’s the best way to travel between Buffalo and Toronto for a little playoff baseball?

Evander Kane is not prone to subtlety. Remember, this is the guy who bought a billboard to make up with his girlfriend.

The Sabres winger has spent the past two nights at playoff baseball games, and took an especially extravagant mode of transportation to Toronto on Monday night for the Blue Jays-Royals game. 

Yeah, that’s a helicopter. 

“I look at it as a safety thing,” Kane said, according to The Buffalo News. “It prevents accidents. You’re not driving. You’re not tired. It’s a safe way to get to a game.”

And look who was with Kane at the Mets-Cubs game on Sunday night.

So now we have proof that Kane’s grand gestures are effective.
