A former high school principal writes a note to Ryan Mallett’s parents

We asked a former high school principal to send a note to Ryan Mallett’s parents.

Ryan Mallett missed the Houston Texans’ team flight to Miami for their game against the Dolphins on Sunday, eventually joining the Texans after flying commercial.

It’s the second time Mallett has been late to something important this season. He also missed a practice during training camp when his alarm clock didn’t go off. Sure, we’ve all been there, but we’re starting to get a little concerned for Mallett and his chronic lateness. 

We thought it would be best to handle this situation in a way we’re all familiar with. So we asked Michael Ramirez, an educator at the county level in Florida and former high school principal, to send a stern note to Mallett’s parents:
