The starters for this year’s NBA All-Star Game were announced on Thursday night, and Draymond Green came in fifth in front-court voting, missing out on a spot in the Western Conference lineup for now.

Green’s outspoken mother, Mary Babers-Green, took to her popular Twitter account after the votes were announced to do what she does best, fight for her son.

While Babers-Green contended she was not mad, her son was a little concerned about what his mother might say following the announcement.

Green’s mom managed not to say anything incendiary, but she was quick to retweet anyone who agreed that the Warriors star should have made the cut.

The Golden State forward still has a good chance of making the team, as the Western Conference coaches vote to fill out the bench spots on the All-Star squad.
