Yoenis Cespedes showed up to his first Mets training camp in style on Tuesday with a custom three-wheeled car-motorcycle hybrid that put everything else in the parking lot to shame.

Teammate Matt Harvey had arrived earlier in a pretty impressive Maserati (which will hopefully get him to practice on time), but the gathered media all trained their camera phones to take way too many of pictures of the outfielder’s futuristic ride.

The heavily documented ride is a modified Polaris Slingshot, which runs around $21,000 in a stock model. Not much of a splurge considering the new contract the 30-year-old signed, which is estimated to pay him $75 million over the next three years.

UPDATE (1:36 p.m. ET): Cespedes left the Mets facility in his car and there’s video.

Tremendous.
