Chris Evans has been vocal about his love of his hometown Patriots, and that continued when he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel to promote the upcoming installment of the Captain America franchise.

Evans talked about his guest list for the premiere event, including Patriots players Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola. He also invited Rob Gronkowski, who never got around to responding.

Since the tight end seems to have missed his chance to get a look at the premiere on Wednesday he will have to wait until Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6 to see how the battle between the Avengers plays out.

Evans admits that even a big star like himself gets a little nervous around the greatest Patriot of all, Tom Brady, and then shares a little fan fiction about his ideal meeting with the quarterback.
