Whatever Phil Kessel ate before Wednesday’s game must have been a little stinky, but at least it powered him to a two-point performance.
After recording a goal and an assist in the Penguins’ win over the Lightning, Kessel sat down for an interview with NBC’s Pierre McGuire. When Pierre asked about Kessel’s conditioning, Phil thought he was hinting at something else.
Kessel should brush up on his hockey slang, or maybe he’s still a bit shaken by last summer’s hot dog rumor.
