Rapper Lil’ Dicky grew up in in Philadelphia during the Andy Reid era of the Eagles and he still has a soft spot for the now-Chiefs coach, and when he revealed this to the NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, the host put his connections to work to try and get the two together.

Eisen and Dicky called up Steve Mariucci who in turn called up Reid to see if he was interested. The coach did not love the idea of rapping or appearing in a video but he seemed willing to talk more to Eisen about it at a later date.

According to Mariucci, Reid was doing some mattress moving when he took the call, so maybe if they ask him at a more opportune time we can see the mustachioed MC drop a few bars on a track with internet star Lil Dicky.

Coaches seems as though they may be the new video vixens, as Jim Harbaugh starred in a recent video for a pro-Michigan track from rapper Bailey.
