Finn Balor injured right shoulder during SummerSlam match against Seth Rollins

WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor dislocated his right shoulder during his match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.

WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor dislocated his right shoulder during his match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam on Sunday and may have torn his labrum, according to WWE.com.

Balor defeated Rollins to become the first man to claim the Universal Championship belt, which was created for Monday Night Raw after the WWE announced a brand split. During the match, WWE.com reports, he absorbed a running powerbomb to a ringside barricade, causing his shoulder to be popped out of place. Balor then popped it back in during the match and continued fighting.

“He hit the wall during the match, dislocated his shoulder and was able to put it back in himself in a split second,” ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson told WWE.com.

Randy Orton needed 10 staples to repair his head wound from SummerSlam

Balor will see a consultant to determine whether or not he needs surgery. This clouds up the championship picture on Raw; Balor may be forced to vacate the title, leaving Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Rusev, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Sheamus to battle for it.
