Oakland A's lead post-trade deadline World Series odds

After the passing of the non-waiver trade deadline Thursday, the betting website Bovada posted new odds for teams to win the 2014 World Series.

The Oakland Athletics are favorites at 4/1, with the Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Dodgers holding the second-highest odds at 5-1.

The Los Angeles Angels and Washington Nationals have the third-highest odds at 10-1.

Two of the biggest trades before the deadline involved the Athletics and Tigers. Oakland acquired Jon Lester and Detroit acquired David Price.

Price and Lester are considered two of the best pitchers in MLB.
