Tim Tebow ran a 60-yard dash during his baseball workout at USC that was clocked from 6.7–6.8 seconds by reporters on the scene.

There are 42 major-league scouts in attendance to see the former NFL quarterback throw, run and hit out in California. Early on, he was impressive. He showcased a strong arm, and shocked scouts used explicit language as they got a look at his build.

On a bio sheet handed out by Tebow’s agency, he was listed at 6'3" and 255 lbs., with 7.3% body fat.

Here’s a look at Tebow’s dash:

Here’s how he fared out in the outfield:

He was throwing well, but not really seeing the ball well.

He stepped in to hit, and looked pretty comfortable at the plate.

Then, he hit some absolute shots.

A National League scout called Tebow “fringe but serviceable” in the outfield, according to Baseball America’s Taylor Blake Ward.

His 60-yard dash time is right up there with the major-league average of around 6.7–6.9.
