The Orioles have acquired veteran outfielder Michael Bourn from the Diamondbacks, the teams announced.

Jon Heyman of Today’s Knuckleballfirst reported the deal.

Minor league outfielder Jason Heinrich goes to Arizona in exchange, with outfielder Joey Rickard moving to the 60-day disabled list for Baltimore to make room.

Bourn, 33, provides outfield depth for the Orioles, who are in the hunt for the AL East title and a playoff spot. He will be eligible for the team”s postseason roster. He is batting .261 with 13 stolen bases in 358 plate appearances this season for the D-Backs.

The Orioles also picked up outfielder Drew Stubbs off waivers from the Rangers on Wednesday. Major League rosters expand on Thursday.

Baltimore entered Wednesday with a record of 72–60.
