Facebook released its new Notify app on Wednesday, featuring Sports Illustrated.

Facebook released its new Notify app on Wednesday, featuring Sports Illustrated.

The app, which is separate from the main Facebook app, sends push notifications to mobile phones regarding breaking news. The notifications are delivered from a system of stations and substations that individuals can select based on their interests.

SI, which is one of six launching partners associated with the app, will feature 12 stations on Notify, including The MMQB, fantasy football tips and news and rumors across all of its sports accounts.

Access SI’s stations by downloading Notify and clicking the + in the upper right corner followed by the “Sources” option.
