The Indiana Pacers have signed Glenn Robinson III to a three-year deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Robinson announced on Twitter that he would be playing for the Pacers next season, and said he “couldn't be more excited to play at home.”

Robinson, who was born in Gary, Ind., went to high school in St. John, Ind. The 21-year-old was the 40th pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who waived him in March. Robinson became an unrestricted free agent after the Philadelphia 76ers, who claimed Robinson on waivers, declined to make a qualifying offer.

Last season, Robinson played in 35 games, averaging 7.5 minutes, 2.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

Robinson is the son of Glenn Robinson, who was the No. 1 overall pick in 1994 by the Milwaukee Bucks.
