“I think honestly we have two of the top 10 players in the league—Draymond Green is the second one,” West said. “He’s the most underrated player in the NBA, period. There are very few players, I think, anyone in our organization would trade for him. He’s just a remarkable player. Watch him handle the ball, watch him make passes, defensively he’s everywhere. If he’s not a top 10 player in this league, I don’t know who is.”
Green, 25, is in his fourth NBA season after being drafted out of Michigan State with the 35th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. He has never made an All-Star team.
Green is averaging 12.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 16 games for the Warriors. He signed a five-year. $85 million contract extension in July.
The Warriors are off to the best start in NBA history after winning their first 16 games of the year.
