First-time All-Star Draymond Green got a nice surprise on Thursday

While taping a live hit discussing his All-Star chances with CSN—unaware that the news had broken—Green received a surprise on-air visit from his mother, Mary Babers-Green, from his hometown of Saginaw, Mich.

She let him know the news, along with a large portion of their family.

GOLLIVER: Green’s versatile skills put him in a category of his own

Green joins Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to give the Warriors—off to an improbable 42–4—a league-high three All-Star representatives.

Catch them all in the game on Sunday, Feb. 14, in Toronto.
