Thunder small forward Kevin Durant addressed rumors that the Golden State Warriors are significant favorites to sign him during free agency this summer, but neither confirmed nor denied any interest in the team during a press conference Wednesday.

“I can’t control any of that,” Durant said, according to Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman. “Just got to work hard every single day, focus on what’s in front of me and not worry about what’s going to happen down the line. All that stuff I can’t control. Like I said, when that time comes we’ll talk about it, but for right now, I’m 100 percent committed and locked in on being the best team and player I can be and helping my team try to get a championship.”

Durant, a seven-time All-Star and 2014 league MVP, becomes an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career on July 1.

Golden State forward Draymond Green is reportedly pushing for a union between Durant and the Warriors (44–4), who will play the Thunder (37–13) at home on Saturday.
