Seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady isn’t convinced that Stephen Curry earned a unanimous MVP selection on his own.

Hours after Curry became the first unanimous MVP in league history, McGrady suggested the feat was a product of a weak league, which is devoid of “top-notch” players and teams.

“For him to be that first player to get that unanimously, I think it tells you how watered-down our league is,” McGrady said on ESPN’s The Jump. “Seriously. Because think of when M.J. played, Shaq, I mean those guys really played against top-notch competition, more superstars I think on more teams ... but it’s well-deserved.”

EXTRA MUSTARD: Stephen Curry left Charles Barkley at a literal loss for words

McGrady is hardly the first retired player to question the quality of the league in light of the Warriors’ success. So many criticized Curry and Golden State that the two-time MVP called it “annoying” back in February.
