Kevin Durant is still expected to re-sign with Oklahoma City this offseason, but the Los Angeles Clippers impressed the star forward during their meeting in the Hamptons on Friday, according to ESPN.

The meeting between the two sides was described as “intense” and at one point, owner Steve Ballmer was reportedly crying.

Durant walked away from the four-hour meeting, which also included coach Doc Rivers, president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, with admiration for the direction that the Clippers are headed in.

The 27-year-old also spoke on the phone with Chris Paul before the meeting, and has been in communication with the point guard throughout the week.

Although he was “blown away” by the Clippers, Durant’s meeting with the Thunder also went well. He also met with the Warriors on Friday, and will talk with the Spurs, Celtics and Heat over the weekend.

Where ever he ends up, Durant is expected to sign a one-year deal so he can cash in next free agency when the salary cap again increases.
