Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell, the No. 2 pick in last year's NBA draft, hit a game-winning three at the buzzer at Summer League on Saturday night to beat the 76ers 70–69.

Russell, playing with the No. 2 pick in this year's draft, teammate Brandon Ingram, and against No. 1 pick Ben Simmons, led all scorers with 22 points on 8-of-20 shooting. The loudest basket he hit came with time winding down in the fourth.

Despite the 22 points, Russell insisted he didn't play well.

Simmons stole the show on Saturday with his flashy passing skills, dishing out eight assists.
