Wife of Bengals QB A.J. McCarron criticizes locker room media policy

Katherine McCarron, the wife of Bengals backup quarterback A.J. McCarron, questioned the NFL’s locker room media policy after NFL Network cameras showed several nude Bengals players on Sunday.
NFL Network’s Albert Breer interviewed Cincinnati defensive back Adam Jones in the locker room while his teammates were getting dressed.
Bengals lineman Andrew Whitworth was also upset with being shown naked on camera.
In her criticism, McCarron suggested that some female reporters would be uncomfortable interviewing players in the locker room.
How is this ok? What about female reporters required to get an interview? https://t.co/n3RSexRILR

No missing the point. Players should have their privacy. I'm sure female reports would rather not be in there https://t.co/1FjAXHQxPH

I would rather my husbands ass/penis not be all over TV. Would you like to be filmed while naked? https://t.co/0cWsGDE5zj

Female reporters have long lobbied for locker room access. A 1978 federal court decision finally granted equal access to female writers. Earlier this month, two women said they were temporarily denied access to the Jaguars’ locker room after a game.
