Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reportedly been pushing Raiders owner Mark Davis to sell the team for years, according to Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman.

Jones said earlier this week that he supported putting an NFL team in Las Vegas—where the Raiders have been lobbying to relocate—but only if the team was headed by the “right ownership.” Jones reportedly feels that Davis is not capable of maximizing revenues or creating value for the league, Freeman reports.

The Raiders have been pushing toward relocation to Las Vegas, with Davis pledging $500 million toward the construction of a $1.4 billion stadium in Vegas at a meeting with the Nevada tourism committee.

Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman also supports the Raiders move to her city, saying this week that the Raiders will relocate if the state of Nevada handles the business proceedings “properly.”
