Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Trevor Daley will miss the rest of the playoffs with a broken ankle, the team announced Sunday.

Daley sustained the injury during Pittsburgh’s 4–3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lighting in game 4.

Daley has been a big part of his team’s success this postseason, scoring a goal and registering five assists. He ranked second on the team in ice time behind only defenseman Kris Letang.

The Penguins and Lightning play game 5 in Pittsburgh on Sunday. The series is currently tied at 2–2.
