A fire in the Olympic village building that is housing the Australian Olympic team was evacuated Friday due to a fire in the basement.

No injuries were reported, according to a spokesman.

The fire is being investigated as a possible arson case, according to CNN's Carol Costello.

The team was back in the building after half an hour, Reuters reports.

The Australian Olympic team previously complained about infrastructure issues that involved unclean and unfinished rooms within the village before they moved in.

The opening ceremony will take place next week on Aug. 5. This will be the first Olympics held in South America. The lead-up to the games has been filled with issues involving polluted water, the Zika virus and political unrest.
