The United States has named its roster for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship starting later this week.
The team is comprised of two goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and five forwards.
The U-20 team went 6-1-2 in international competition last year and will begin the CONCACAF U-20 tournament on Friday against Guatemala. They have matches against Panama on Jan. 11, Aruba on Jan. 14, Jamaica on Jan. 18 and Trinidad & Tobago on Jan. 21.
The winner and three others from the tournament will qualify for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup starting May 30 in New Zealand.
The U.S. finished in second place in the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.

It's a group that has gotten good results throughout the last 12 to 14 months, regardless of the players we've had.”
Six players on the roster also play in Major League Soccer, including captain Kellyn Acosta, who plays for FC Dallas, and New York Red Bulls defender Matt Miazga. Forwards Paul Arriola and Amando Moreno, midfielder Fernando Arce and defender John Requejo are all teammates on Mexico's Club Tijuana.
