Take a bow, Brek Shea.

The Orlando City man, offered an opportunity by Jurgen Klinsmann to stake a claim as a regular with the U.S. national team, made the most of his opportunity with a fantastic free kick goal to put the U.S. up 1-0 over Switzerland on Tuesday.

The goal came at a good time for the U.S., as it was practically the last kick of the half. The fact that it came from Shea, whose career has been stalled over the last couple years, was a welcome surprise to fans in attendance.

All in all, not a bad way to head into the locker room.
