Danny Williams scores rocket goal late in USMNT's loss to Brazil

Danny Williams came up with an exciting, albeit late, goal for the United States in a 4–1 loss to Brazil.

Though the U.S. struggled throughout the match and came away on the wrong end of the scoreline, midfielder Danny Williams came up with an exciting, albeit late, goal in a 4–1 loss to Brazil.

Williams took the ball deep in the attacking third, put it to his right with a touch, and operating with plenty of space, hammered home a curving rocket of a shot off Brazilian keeper Marcelo Grohe and into the back of the net.

It was a nice showing from the reserve midfielder and the lone highlight for the Americans, who continue to prepare for their Oct. 10 clash with Mexico to determine a berth in the Confederations Cup.
