A suicide bomber killed at least 29 people and injured at least 60 in an attack at a soccer stadium in central Iraq on Friday, according to the Associated Press

The attack occurred in the town of Iskandariya, about 30 miles south of Baghdad. “The bombing came as Iraqi military spokesman Yahya Rusoul announced that Iraqi troops and Sunni tribal fighters recaptured the western town of Kubeisa from the Islamic State group,” the AP reports.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, CNN’s Arwa Damon reports

The attack comes three days after the deadly ISIS bombings in Brussels that killed at least 34 people. After that attack, Belgium’s national team canceled its scheduled training session and moved next week’s friendly against Portugal to the Portuguese city of Leira.
