NASCAR driver Joey Logano signed a multi-year contract extension with Team Penske on Thursday.

The length of contract and financial details were not disclosed.  Logano will continue to pilot the No. 22 in the Sprint Cup Series and the Nationwide Series, the team said.

Logano has won four times this season, including a victory at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway last week. The win vaulted him to second in the standings in the Chase, one point behind leader and Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski.

Logano, 24, has seven Sprint Cup and 21 Nationwide victories in his career.

“I am fortunate and excited to be a part of Team Penske for the foreseeable future,” Logano said. “Mr. Penske gives us everything we need to keep our eye on the prize and compete for wins and championships."
