Canelo Alvarez celebrates win with Mexico soccer stars

When Floyd Mayweather Jr. enters the ring, he is accompanied by the likes of Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne. For Mexican star Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, however, his entourage is a more respectable bunch that includes some of the top athletes from his country.

On Saturday night, Canelo earned a split-decision win over Erislandy Lara at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Before and after his match, he had the company of Mexico international soccer stars Guillermo Ochoa, who was one of the breakout stars of the 2014 World Cup, midfielder Miguel Layun and Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez.

The group of Mexican athletes took to social media to show off their support of Canelo and the celebration inside of the ring after the big win.
