Maggie Gray welcomes the great sports photographer Neil Leifer to the Gray Area Podcast. Leifer is perhaps best known for his iconic boxing photographs, particularly those of Muhammad Ali. He has covered Ali's biggest fights, and he has had dozens of one-on-one studio sessions with the Ali. Leifer has also photographed 16 Olympic Games, 4 FIFA World Cups, 15 Kentucky Derbies, the first 12 Super Bowls, numerous World Series games and some of the greatest boxing matches in the history of the sport.

In this episode, you'll hear Leifer share stories of Muhammad Ali, tell the story behind the photo of Fidel Castro lighting a cigar for him, how he got the remote shot of Ricky Hatton on the canvas after Manny Pacquiao knocked him out, what he thinks of Instagram and much more.
