During the boxing layoff due to COVID-19, two legends of the sport, Mike Tyson and now Oscar De La Hoya, have said they have been training in hopes to return to the ring. De La Hoya said he wants to face off against a top opponent at 154 or 160 pounds leading to speculation that De La Hoya was looking to fight Canelo Alvarez, the star boxer who happens to be a part of De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions.
