Kentucky hasn’t beaten Florida in football since 1986, losing 27 games in a row in the series, and hasn't won in Gainesville since 1979. But that didn’t stop Kentucky running back Jojo Kemp from predicting a road victory over the Gators on Saturday, and infuriating his own head coach in the process.

Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said he was “furious” and “outraged” that Kemp told the Louisville Courier-Journal, “it's going to be fun walking out with a victory and rubbing it in their faces.”

Stoops said that he was “outraged and I talked to him about it. ... He was trying to make light of some friends he has on this program but like I told him yesterday, 'You think they're gonna hear all that? They're gonna hear the last five seconds of what you said.’”

Kentucky won its first two games this season against UT Martin and Ohio, and Florida beat Eastern Michigan 65-0 last Saturday after its opener against Idaho was canceled.
