Florida State: School Is Not Bowl Eligible
Florida State football was incorrectly granted an invitation to a bowl game in 2017.
Despite a 6-6 record, it has been discovered that Florida State is not bowl eligible this season due to an FCS win over Delaware State that was incorrectly counted as a bowl-eligible victory. The Seminoles will still play in the Independence Bowl on December 27th despite the oversight.
