Receivers coach: Dorial Green-Beckham wants to play for Oklahoma
Oklahoma wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has continued to show commitment to the team despite being unable to play this season, receivers coach Jay Norvell told News 9.
Green-Beckham was ruled ineligible to play in 2014 by the NCAA in August after transferring from Missouri. He left the school when he was kicked off the Tigers' football team in April after multiple run-ins with the law and two previous suspensions from the team.

Despite being unable to play, Green-Beckham could leave early for the NFL in the spring without ever playing for the Sooners. Norvell said Green-Beckham hasn't given any indications of doing so.
“He's made a commitment to be here, he wants to go to school here and he wants to play football here at Oklahoma, so obviously we are going to help him improve here every day,” Norvell said. “This is not a year off for him, he's out there working every day, he's helping on the scout team and he's also trying to improve his skills as a receiver, as well as the off the field things, so it's an important development time for him."
If he returns, Green-Beckham would be a redshirt junior in 2015.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder had 59 catches for 883 yards and 12 touchdowns for Missouri last season.
