Mack Brown to decide on coaching future in December
Former Texas head coach and current ESPN analyst Mack Browntold a Twitter follower that he will decide his future in coaching in December.
Brown, 63, resigned from Texas last December before the Alamo Bowl game against Oregon. The Longhorns compiled a 30-20 overall and a 18-17 record in the Big 12 Conference in his last four seasons at the school. He was hired in July as a studio analyst for college football games on ABC.
Brown was asked on Twitter “would U think about coaching again or do U think Ur career is done?” Brown answered “will decide in Dec.”

He took Texas to bowl games in 15 of the 16 years he was at the school. He also led the program to four BCS games and won the BCS Championship with a 41-38 victory over USC in the 2006 Rose Bowl.
Brown has a 244–122–1 career record in 29 seasons at Texas, Tulane and North Carolina.
Under new head coach Charlie Strong, Texas has started the season 2-2 and hosts No. 7 Baylor on Saturday. Strong has already dismissed nine players from the roster for violating team rules.
