Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. TCU Horned Frogs
The No. 10 TCU Horned Frogs (5-1) will look to continue their high-scoring season when they host the Texas Tech Red Raiders (3-4) on Saturday. TCU bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 37-9 win over Oklahoma State last week. Texas Tech ended a four-game losing streak last week by beating Kansas, 34-21.

Oct. 18: TCU 37, Oklahoma State 9
Quarterback Trevone Boykin set a career high with 410 passing yards while throwing three touchdowns and an interception as the Horned Frogs rolled past the Cowboys. Receiver Josh Doctson had seven catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns, including an 84-yard score. B.J. Catalon rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns. TCU intercepted Daxx Garman twice.
Oct. 11:Baylor 61, TCU 58
TCU lost its first game of the season against then-No. 5 Baylor after blowing a 58-37 fourth-quarter lead. Trevone Boykin completed 21 of 47 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown. The Horned Frogs rushed for 139 yards and four touchdowns as a team. Baylor's offense was too powerful for TCU's defense as quarterback Bryce Petty threw for 510 yards and six touchdowns. Three Baylor receivers topped 100 receiving yards, and Shock Linwood ran for 179 yards on 29 carries.
Oct. 4: TCU 37, Oklahoma 33
The Horned Frogs intercepted Trevor Knight twice, including a 41-yard interception return for a touchdown from Paul Dawson in the fourth quarter to help TCU defeat the Sooners. Trevor Boykin threw for 318 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Kolby Listenbee was the standout receiver with five grabs for 103 yards. B.J. Catalon recorded the team's lone rushing touchdown.
Sept. 27: TCU 56, SMU 0
TCU dominated the "Battle for the Iron Skillet" by outgaining the Mustangs 614 to 245 and taking advantage of three SMU turnovers. Trevone Boykin threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns, with Deante' Gray hauling in six of Boykin's passes for 96 yards and two scores. TCU rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns. The leading rusher was B.J. Catalon, who totaled 114 yards on the ground with a touchdown.
Sept. 13: TCU 30, Minnesota 7
In a 30-7 win over Minnesota, quarterback Trevone Boykin finished with 258 yards passing and two touchdowns and led the team in rushing with 92 yards on 12 carries. The TCU defense forced five turnovers and held Minnesota to 99 yards on the ground.
Aug. 30: TCU 48, Samford 14
TCU opened the season with a win over Samford, 48-14, during which receiver Kolby Listenbee grabbed three balls for 76 yards and two touchdowns. TCU amassed 555 yards, including 200 yards on the ground compiled by eight different rushers. TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a touchdown.

Oct. 18: Texas Tech 34, Kansas 21
Texas Tech won its first game since early September by knocking off Kansas. Quarterback Davis Webb completed 28 of 44 passes for 288 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Running back DeAndre Washington led the Red Raiders with 23 carries for 164 yards.
Oct. 11: West Virginia 37, Texas Tech 34
Texas Tech fell to 0-3 in Big 12 play with a 37-34 loss to West Virginia. The Mountaineers won on Josh Lambert's 55-yard field goal as time expired. Davis Webb threw for 348 yards and three touchdowns, running back DeAndre Washington had 132 rushing yards and receiver Devin Lauderdale had three catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
Oct. 4:Kansas State 45, Texas Tech 13
The Red Raiders have lost four straight to the Wildcats dating back to 2011. Texas Tech lost the turnover battle for the 13th straight game, during which the team is 5-8. The Red Raiders had a season-high three sacks, all in the first quarter.
Sept. 25:Oklahoma State 45, Texas Tech 35
The Red Raiders have lost six straight to the Cowboys dating to 2009. Quarterback Davis Webb has thrown a touchdown pass in the first 14 games of his career, a school record. Texas Tech scored on its opening possession for the first time this season.
Sept. 13:Arkansas 49, Texas Tech 28
It was the first meeting between the former Southwest Conference rivals since 1991. The loss snapped a 16-game regular-season winning streak against non-conference opponents. Texas Tech forced its first turnover of the season on a fumbled punt that was recovered by Sam Eguavoen.
Sept. 6: Texas Tech 30, UTEP 26
The Red Raiders took the lead for good with 2:32 remaining on a nine-yard pass from Davis Webb to Brad Marquez. Justin Stockton ran for 135 yards on eight carries to become the first Texas Tech freshman with 100 yards in a game since Taurean Henderson against NC State in 2002. The Red Raiders have two plays of more than 70 yards this season after not having one from 2011-13.
Aug. 30: Texas Tech 42, Central Arkansas 35
The Red Raiders won their opener for the 12th straight year. Texas Tech has now won 22 straight home openers. Running back DeAndreWashington ran for a career-high 104 yards on 20 carries.
