Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys
The Texas Longhorns (5-5) travel to Stillwater to play the Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-4) on Saturday night. Texas has won back-to-back games for the first time all season after beating West Virginia last week. After opening the season 5-1, Oklahoma State has lost its last three games, including a loss to Kansas State two weeks ago.

11/1: Kansas State 48, Oklahoma State 14
Oklahoma State turned the ball over three times and dropped their third-straight game, all against ranked opponents. Daxx Garman completed 12 of 23 passes for 148 yards and two interceptions as the Cowboys were held to just 260 yards of total offense. Tyreek Hill carried 18 times for 102 yards and a score.
10/25: West Virginia 34, Oklahoma State 10
The Cowboys dropped their second straight game when they lost at home to the Mountaineers. Daxx Garman completed 21 of 41 passes for 242 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and James Washington had five catches for 87 yards. The Oklahoma State defense limited West Virginia to 10 points in the second quarter despite allowing 448 yards of total offense.
10/18:TCU 42, Oklahoma State 9
Oklahoma State's five-game winning streak was snapped by TCU. Daxx Garman tossed two interceptions and completed just 10 of 25 passes for 132 yards in the loss. The Cowboys defense allowed 676 total yards to TCU, including 410 passing yards to Trevone Boykin.
10/11: Oklahoma State 27, Kansas 20
The Cowboys won their fifth-straight game by holding on to beat the Jayhawks. With the score tied at 20, Tyreek Hill returned a kickoff 99 yards for the game-winning score in the fourth quarter. Daxx Garman threw for 161 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while Desmond Roland led the way with 87 rushing yards and a touchdown.
10/4: Oklahoma State 37, Iowa State 20
Quarterback Daxx Garman threw for 271 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions as the Cowboys notched their fourth win of the season. Oklahoma State is now 5-1 in its last six games against Iowa State. The Cowboys are now 35-4 in their last 39 games against unranked opponents.
9/25: Oklahoma State 45, Texas Tech 35
The latest Oklahoma State victory over Texas Tech marked the sixth straight win for the Cowboys over the Red Raiders. The Cowboys haven’t lost to them at home since 2001. Oklahoma State extended its streak of scoring at least 20 points to 56 games, the second longest since Division I split into two divisions in 1978. USC holds the mark with 63 straight games from 2002-06.
9/13: Oklahoma State 43, UTSA 13
The Cowboys held UTSA to 3-for-17 on third down, putting the defense at 11-of-45 for the season. Ashton Lampkin’s 50-yard interception return for a touchdown was Oklahoma State’s first defensive score of the season. Daxx Garman went 16-for-30 for 315 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start at quarterback.
9/6: Oklahoma State 40, Missouri State 23
The Cowboys are now 40-6 in their last 46 home openers. It was Oklahoma State’s 18th consecutive win over teams currently in FCS. Daxx Garman replaced the injured J.W. Walsh at quarterback for his first game action since his junior year of high school in 2009.
8/30: Florida State 37, Oklahoma State 31
The Cowboys battled back from a 17-0 deficit but their upset bid fell short when Florida State recovered an onside kick with 1:53 remaining. It was Oklahoma State’s first season-opening loss since 2007. J.W. Walsh threw for 203 yards and led OSU with 51 yards on the ground.

11/8: Texas 33, West Virginia 16
Jonathan Gray ran for three touchdowns to lead the Longhorns past the Mountaineers for their second-straight victory. Tyrone Swoopes completed just 11 of 29 passes for 124 yards, one touchdown and one interception. It is the first time the Longhorns have won consecutive games under coach Charlie Strong.
11/1: Texas 34, Texas Tech 13
Texas scored the final 24 points to overcome a 13-10 first-half deficit and move to 3-3 in Big 12 play. Malcolm Brown led the way with 22 carries for 116 yards and two touchdowns, and Jonathan Gray added 16 carries for 76 yards and a score. Tyrone Swoopes threw for 228 yards and a touchdown, while John Harris had five catches for 165 yards.
10/25: Kansas State 23, Texas 0
The Longhorns were shut out for the first time since 2004 by the Wildcats. Tyrone Swoopes completed 13 of 25 passes for 106 yards as Texas managed only 196 yards of total offense. Texas ran for 90 yards on 27 carries and lost the time of possession battle by nearly 20 minutes.
10/18: Texas 48, Iowa State 45
Nick Rose's 21-yard field goal with three seconds left snapped Texas' two-game losing streak. Tyrone Swoopes completed 24 of 36 passes for 321 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while also running for 95 yards and another score. John Harris led the team with nine catches for 147 yards, and Texas rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns as a team.
10/11: Oklahoma 31, Texas 26
Texas was down 31-13 early in the fourth quarter and roared back, but the Longhorns couldn't pull off the upset of the Sooners for the second year in a row. Tyrone Swoopes threw for 334 yards and two touchdowns in the close loss, while wide receiver Jaxon Shipley caught nine balls for 115 yards.
10/04: Baylor 28, Texas 7
Texas' rushing defense allowed Baylor running back Shock Linwood to rush for 148 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore Tyrone Swoopes completed 16 of 34 passes for 144 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. The Longhorns' lone score came with 2:42 left in the game, a two-yard touchdown run from Johnathan Gray.
09/27: Texas 23, Kansas 0
Tyrone Swoopes threw for 218 yards and two touchdowns and added another score on the ground. John Harris led the Longhorns in receiving with six catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. The Texas defense forced four turnovers in the shutout effort.
09/13: UCLA 20, Texas 17
The door opened for Texas to pull off the upset when UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley went down with an arm injury in the first quarter, but the Bruins were able to hang on after getting the lead in the final five minutes of the game. Tyrone Swoopes threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns, but the Longhorns defense allowed the Bruins to rush for 249 yards.
09/06: BYU 41, Texas 7
David Ash missed the game with a concussion and ultimately decided to end his career. Tyrone Swoopes started in his place and threw for 176 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Texas turned the ball over four times and allowed 429 yards in the blowout loss.
08/30: Texas 38, North Texas 7
Texas forced four turnovers and outgained North Texas 353-94 in Charlie Strong's Longhorn coaching debut. David Ash threw for 190 yards and a touchdown, with John Harris catching seven passes for 110 yards and a score. Ash added a touchdown on the ground.
