Nebraska vs USC: Holiday Bowl game time, live stream, TV coverage
Nebraska vs. USC
The Nebraska Cornhuskers and No. 24 USC Trojans will face each other in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27. Nebraska finished 9-3, second in the Big Ten West division with a 5-3 conference record. USC finished 8-4, tied for second in the Pac-12 South division with a 6-3 mark in conference play.
Despite the nine-win season, the Huskers fired head coach Bo Pelini after seven years at Nebraska. Less than a week later, Nebraska hiredOregon State head coach Mike Riley. Interim coach Barney Cotton, the team's former run game coordinator/tight ends/offensive line coach, will coach the bowl game.
USC ended the regular season, its first under head coach Steve Sarkisian, with a 49-14 win over Notre Dame on Nov. 29. That marked a two-game departure from 2013's 10-4 record under Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron.

11/29: Nebraska 37, Iowa 34 (OT)
Nebraska overcame a 17-point, third-quarter deficit behind a four-touchdown day from Tommy Armstrong Jr., and an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown by De'Mornay Pierson-El. A 20-yard field goal by Drew Brown tied the game with eight seconds remaining, and after Iowa opened overtime with a 25-yard field goal, the Huskers won the game with a nine-yard pass from Armstrong to Kenny Bell. Ameer Abdullah led all players with 106 rushing yards on 13 carries.
11/22:Minnesota 28, Nebraska 24
Minnesota secured its first victory in Lincoln since 1960, rallying from a 14-point halftime deficit. The Gophers rushed for 280 yards, led by Mitch Leidner's season-high 110 yards and two scores and running back David Cobb's 80 yards. Ameer Abdullah had 98 yards and a touchdown, and Tommy Armstrong threw for 233 yards for Nebraska, which lost its second-straight game.
11/15:Wisconsin 59, Nebraska 24
Nebraska's defense was shredded by Heisman candidate Melvin Gordon, who ran for an FBS-record 408 yards on just 25 carries and did not even play in the fourth quarter. (Gordon's record was broken the next week by Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine.) Nebraska jumped out to a 17-3 lead thanks to two Gordon fumbles, but the Cornhuskers couldn't sustain any offense or slow down Gordon the rest of the game.

11/29: USC 49, Notre Dame 14
Cody Kessler threw six touchdown passes and the Trojans jumped out to a 35-0 lead before the Fighting Irish scored their first touchdown with 4:11 remaining in the second quarter. Kessler finished 32-of-40 for 372 yards, and Nelson Agholor caught 12 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. As a team, USC gained 577 yards of total offense.
11/22:UCLA 38, USC 20
Anthony Sarao returned an interception for a touchdown in the first quarter to give USC a 7-0 lead, but UCLA answered with two touchdowns and ran away from the Trojans. Cody Kessler completed 22 of 34 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Trojans gave up 461 yards of total offense, including 326 passing yards to Brett Hundley.
11/13: USC 38, California 30
USC took a 31-2 first half lead and Cal's comeback attempt ran out of time, giving the Trojans their second straight victory. Cody Kessler completed 31 of 42 passes for 317 yards, four touchdowns and an interception. Nelson Agholor caught 16 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns to carry the offense.
