Navy Unveils Unreal Hand-Painted Helmets For Army Game

The Midshipmen (9–2, 7–1 AAC) missed out on a conference title game appearance, and also a likely New Year's Six bowl appearance, with a 52–31 loss to Houston last Saturday, but they have managed to prevail, comfortably, in the chaotic and highly competitive uniform arm race.
They close the 2015 regular season on Dec. 12 with the 116th Army-Navy Game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Although the heavily favored Midshipmen are expected to defeat their service academy rival for the 14th straight year, they have already won off the field in a big, big way. On Monday, the program changed the uniform game forever by unveiling the most unique helmets in the history of college or professional football.
Each position group will wear a hand-painted helmet featuring a different naval ship. This is the first time in NCAA history that each position will have its own custom helmet:
