Nick Saban on Jim Harbaugh: ‘I don’t really care what he thinks or tweets’

Alabama coach Nick Saban responded to criticism from Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh about his position on satellite camps, saying he is not worried about Harbaugh’s opinions, reports Chris Low of ESPN.
“I don’t really care what he thinks or tweets. I say what I think is best for college football and the players,” Saban said.
The recent spat between Saban and Harbaugh started when the Alabama coach told reporters that he feels satellite camps hurt college football.
“I’m not blaming (Michigan coach) Jim Harbaugh,” Saban said, according to SECCountry.com. “I’m not saying anything about it. I’m just saying it’s bad for college football. Jim Harbaugh can do anything he wants to do. I’m not saying anything bad about him, if he thinks that’s what’s best. There needs to be somebody who looks out for what’s best for the game, not what’s best for the Big Ten or not what’s best for the SEC or not what’s best for Jim Harbaugh, but what’s best for the game of college football.”

Harbaugh responded to Saban’s initial comments by calling out Alabama for breaking NCAA rules on Twitter.
Harbaugh has been one of the biggest proponents of satellite camps since becoming Michigan’s head coach in 2015. The camps were briefly banned earlier this year by the Division I Council before the ruling was overturned by the NCAA.
