    On Dec. 4, college football’s winter transfer portal window officially opens.

    Players across the country will have until Jan. 2, 2024 to enter the portal, kicking off the mad dash for programs across the country to turn over their rosters before winter workouts begin.

    Oklahoma was active in the transfer portal a year ago, bringing in a number of key contributors while seeing a host of players exit Norman after spending a year in Brent Venables’ program.

    With the initial roster turnover in the rearview mirror, the Sooners aren’t expected to experience as much turnover as the previous two offseasons.

    The arrival of bowl season will also bring decisions about the future, whether to return to Oklahoma or enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
