Rivalry week is finally upon us, college football fans and the Big Ten has saved its best for last as the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines meet for the 116th time. This hate-filled affair debuted in 1897 and has been played annually since 1918, with Michigan leading the series 58-50-6. However, the Buckeyes have won the last seven meetings and a win would put them into the Big Ten Championship Game and one step closer to the College Football Playoff. While Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh hasn’t yet beaten the Buckeyes, his Wolverines have won 7 of its last 8 games. SI’s Amy Campbell breaks down this star-studded affair.
