Louisville rises to top spot in SI's college basketball power rankings

Louisville has now taken the top spot in both the AP poll and SI’s latest college basketball power rankings.

One month into the college hoops season, three AP number one teams have fallen: Michigan State, Kentucky and Duke. Louisville has now taken the top spot in both the AP poll and SI’s latest college basketball power rankings. With a win over ACC rival Pittsburgh Friday night, Louisville will be only he second AP number one team to get through a week unbeaten. However, SI’s Amy Campbell says that no number one is safe this season.
